John H. Bohlen is an attorney in the Domestic Relations Division. Mr. Bohlen has resided in Colorado since 1987 and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from the University of Colorado, where he became a member of the Golden Key International Honor Society. He graduated from the University of Denver College of Law in the top quarter of his class as the recipient of the highest academic achievement award for seminar work in the subject of criminal law ethics.

Mr. Bohlen was a fellow for Colorado Legal Services in the Housing and Homelessness Prevention Unit, where he aggressively represented impoverished clients in landlord–tenant law, federally subsidized housing, and community development. As a sole practitioner for years in the Denver Metropolitan area, he was independently responsible for entirely managing and maintaining his own fast–moving caseload, with a primary focus on domestic relations law.

For the past three years, Mr. Bohlen practiced exclusively in the domestic relations field as a senior associate attorney for an established law firm in Colorado Springs. He brings extensive experience representing hundreds of family law and military clients to the Gasper Law Group. He will handle all aspects of your domestic case from start to finish, ranging from contested divorce proceedings, complicated financial settlements, allocation and modification of parental responsibilities, to adoptions, guardianships, and various post–decree matters.

Mr. Bohlen recognizes that you deserve to hear an honest legal assessment of your case. He is committed to the most cost–effective representation possible for you, while at the same time providing the best legal advocacy available.
