I found myself in a DUI issue with Doughless County. For someone who doesn’t drink or take illegal drugs, it was a very difficult situation. I met with numerous law offices in Colorado Springs to find the lawyer that would be a great fit with me to fight this. I went to The Gasper Law Group and met with Caryn Adams. I thought she was very sharp; she explained the process and how she would address my legal issues. She and her staff guided me through the process and provided the court with my medical records that showed I was having a medical issue at the time of the incident. Caryn did not give up, and we finally successfully ended the situation. I appreciated her efforts along with keeping on the correct path. She will be my first call for any legal issues that may come up in the future.

I'd like to start out by saying, my supposed to be very cut and dry case, I was first told would take no longer than 6 months and would only cost no more than $5000, would end up taking 18 months and cost me over $12,000! I would switch from Liberty Law to Gasper Law to follow my lawyer Drake Larson, who I highly recommend. He fought for me and got me more than I asked for/expected! He's compassionate and knows his stuff! With that being said, divorce is expensive so make sure you have double what you were quoted because once your money runs out, so does your representation. This was a hard, long, and expensive road for me but Drake helped me every step of the way. Thank you Drake!

No one wants to need an attorney. I recommend going through a law firm if you do need an attorney. I've been dealing with lawyers for the last six years due to a very contentious ex and have discovered that lawyers are very transient. If you hire a private attorney, they may not be around long enough to see you through your entire case. Even though I have had a few attorneys over the years, Gasper Law has seen me through so far, and I will be retaining them for any unforeseeable needs in the future.

My children and I fled a physically and emotionally abusive marriage in 2021. After a violent altercation with my ex in April of 2023, I began making steps to get a restraining order and ensure the safety of my children. The court battle was exhausting and emotionally charged with custody and financial considerations as well as an active restraining order. Carrie and Kim (her paralegal) were with me every step of the way, with realistic expectations, keeping me on track for deadlines as I worked through considerable trauma and being sure I was not in court facing my abuser alone a single time as members of the office would drop in, Kim would sit there to give me a face to look at to avoid his and Carrie kept me to the point. Hearing not one, but two separate judges rule that he was in fact guilty of domestic violence and that my children and I were not safe with him as he continued to use digital means to revictimize us was affirmation I had no idea I needed. I have dealt with lawyers in a variety of capacities across twenty years. Carrie is by far the best litigator I have witnessed. Not only did the outcome of my case go better than I could have hoped for, but the clarity of her arguments allowed for the judge to see systemic abuse that went back over ten years.
