Client Care Coordinator, Probate & Estate Planning Division
Montgomery “Monty” Seal-Kirtland is a Black Lab of uncommon discernment whose professional focus includes treat acquisition, nap logistics, and morale enhancement. As Client Care Coordinator, Monty greets guests with rigorous tail-wag protocols, supervises snack distribution with a firm but fair paw, and provides steady emotional support to attorneys who forgot where they put that one very important file (it was on the printer).
Around 3:00 p.m., Monty experiences a mild case of “sundowner syndrome,” during which he advocates passionately for early dinner and/or a walk, whichever occurs first. He is also the Division’s Chief of Perimeter Security, fearlessly alerting staff to imminent dangers such as: a dog outside (anywhere), a dog across the street, a dog on the sidewalk, and the truly formidable 8-lb Bichon Friese down the hall.
When he’s off duty from his time off, Monty dabbles in victimless misdemeanors—namely, off-leash lake swimming—then rehabilitates himself with long walks alongside his mother. His hobbies include strategic rug selection for office naps and daydreaming about returning to work so he can really relax.
